ATTORNEYDaniel M. Branum

Mr. Branum has been a licensed Texas Attorney since 2009.  He began his career at the well-regarded international law firm of Locke Lord LLP in their downtown Houston office.  In 2012, Mr. Branum moved to Locke Lord LLP’s downtown Dallas office.

In 2016, Mr. Branum worked for Figari + Davenport, one of Texas’ top litigation boutiques, for about two years before starting Branum PLLC in 2017.

Mr. Branum’s big firm years were spent working on large complex litigation matters, but now has an ever-broadening list of practice areas including litigation of all kinds, personal injury, real estate, business advisement, oil & gas, wills, probates, and select family law matters, among others.

In 2018 Mr. Branum moved with his family from the middle of Dallas to a small farm outside Olney, Texas.  In his free time, Mr. Branum enjoys working on the farm with his wife and children as well as hunting and working on carpentry projects.

Mr. Branum is the Olney Assistant City Attorney and Municipal Prosecutor as well as Municipal Prosecutor for Graham, Texas.  Mr. Branum is also on the Board of Directors for the Olney Chamber of Commerce and is the present President of the Young County Bar Association.  Mr. Branum belongs to many other local and state organizations.

ATTORNEYSummer B. Branum

Summer Branum is presently not actively practicing law.  Summer expects to return to active practice in approximately 2023.

When Ms. Branum returns, she expects to focus most of her practice on civil litigation, wills & estates, family law, and property transactions.

Prior to joining Branum PLLC, she worked as a solo practitioner and with law firms in Oklahoma and Texas.  She also previously worked as in-house counsel for a national mortgage servicer in Houston, Texas, managing a team of external attorneys and coordinating the defense of various Fortune 500 mortgage lenders in lawsuits involving breach of contract, fraud, wrongful foreclosure, and various statutory violations. Summer also has experience working for the Texas Railroad Commission and clerking for the U.S. Securities & Exchange Commission (Enforcement Division) in Fort Worth, Texas.
